        J.G. Marking holds a Bachelors degree in English and minor in History from Oklahoma State University. Marking received his Masters in Creative Writing from the University of Central Oklahoma. He enjoys spending time with his wife, family and friends as well as athletics, music, movies, reading and most definitely writing. His love of classic Christian authors such as Thomas a Kempis, John Bunyan, John Milton and various others is quite visible while contemporary writers such as C.S. Lewis, John Ortberg, Philip Yancey and Brennan Manning helped inspire and shape his literary style. Described by loved ones and friends as an "igniting spark," Marking's passionate love of Christ and people pulsates throughout his writings and life. He lives in Edmond, Oklahoma with his loving wife Jessica.
